Wedge runs an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so AI tools can read and write your project data with your permission.
What your AI tool can do#
- List your projects and read a project's context
- Read personas, competitors, interviews, and community signals
- Read your problem sizing and Validation Score
- Read and add canvas notes, list and create tasks
- Log an interview and list landing-page signups
Connect from Claude#
- Copy the Wedge MCP server URL from Connect to AI tools in the workspace menu.
- In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste the server URL and add it.
- Authorize with your Wedge account when prompted.
Connect from ChatGPT#
- Open Settings → Connectors → Advanced and enable Developer mode.
- Choose Create app / add MCP server.
- Name it "Wedge" and paste the server URL.
- Create it, then authorize with your Wedge account.
- Enable the app in the composer and ask it about your project.
Access & permissions#
The server URL is the same for everyone, but every request is authorized as the signed-in user. Your AI tool only ever sees projects you own or have been invited to — never another account's data.
