ChatGPT connector
Connect your Wedge startup workspace to ChatGPT
Add Wedge as an MCP server and ChatGPT works from your actual validation evidence instead of a paragraph you pasted three weeks ago — then writes notes, interviews and tasks straight back into Wedge.
What your AI can do with Wedge connected
With the Wedge app enabled in the composer, ChatGPT can:
list_projects
Pull up any of your ideas
Your assistant lists every project in your Wedge workspace — name, one-liner, stage — so you can say “where are we on the invoicing idea?” instead of digging.
get_validation_score
Ask how validated an idea really is
Returns the Validation Score with the evidence behind it and, more usefully, the gaps: what you still haven’t proven before it’s safe to build.
list_personas · list_interviews
Reason over your customer evidence
Your personas and every logged customer interview — quotes, signal strength, what was actually said — so answers cite your research instead of guessing.
get_problem_sizing
Sanity-check the size of the problem
Frequency, cost, urgency and the sizing assumptions you recorded, so your AI can stress-test the maths rather than invent a TAM.
list_competitors
Compare against the landscape you mapped
The competitors you’ve researched, with positioning and gaps, ready for “where is the wedge no one is covering?” questions.
list_signups · list_canvas_notes
See real demand and working notes
Waitlist signups from your validation landing pages, plus every note on your canvas — the raw thinking, not a summary of it.
add_canvas_note
Write findings back to your canvas
Finished a research thread in chat? Have your assistant drop the conclusion straight onto the Wedge canvas where the rest of the work lives.
log_interview
Log an interview from a transcript
Paste the call notes into Claude or ChatGPT and let it file a structured interview against the right project, so your score updates.
create_task
Turn advice into next steps
Any recommendation can become a real task on your Wedge roadmap instead of a paragraph you’ll never read again.
Add Wedge to ChatGPT in three steps
Turn on Developer mode
In ChatGPT go to Settings → Connectors → Advanced and enable Developer mode, which exposes custom MCP servers.
Create an app pointing at Wedge
Choose “Create app” / add MCP server, name it “Wedge”, and paste https://sxqbykxrazwqsxsfbbtb.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp as the server URL.
Authorize and enable it in the composer
Complete the OAuth sign-in with your Wedge account, then switch Wedge on from the composer and ask it about your project.

Do I need ChatGPT Plus or a Team plan?
Custom MCP connectors live behind Developer mode in Connectors, which is available on ChatGPT’s paid plans. Wedge works on any plan that can add an MCP server.
Which AI tools work with Wedge?
Claude and ChatGPT are the two we document step by step, and anything that speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP) works the same way — Cursor, Claude Code, and other MCP-capable clients. You paste the same connector URL everywhere.
Is my data private?
Yes. Connecting runs an OAuth sign-in with your Wedge account, and every tool call is scoped to that account. Your assistant can only read and write the projects you can already see — never another founder’s workspace.
Does it cost extra?
No. The MCP connector is included with every Wedge account, on the free plan too. Tool calls made by your assistant don’t consume Wedge AI credits — those are only used by the in-app cofounder.
Can my AI make changes to my workspace?
Yes, deliberately limited ones: it can add a canvas note, log a customer interview, and create a task. It cannot delete projects, remove evidence, or change billing.
What happens if I add new projects later?
Nothing to reconnect. The connector reads live from your account, so new projects, interviews and notes show up the next time you ask.
Bring your validation work into ChatGPT
Start free in Wedge, build up real evidence for your idea, then connect it to ChatGPT and keep the conversation grounded.
