How Wedge handles your data

Wedge accounts are protected by email/password and Google sign-in, both managed by our backend auth provider with hashed credentials and session refresh.

Every project, canvas, document, and credit balance is scoped to the signed-in user with database-level row policies — accounts cannot read each other's data.

We store the information you provide while building your project: your profile, projects, canvas nodes, chat messages, generated documents, roadmap state, and credit history.

Research and AI outputs you generate inside Wedge are stored under your account so you can return to them. You can delete a project at any time from the dashboard.

AI features (chat, research, document generation, roadmap, persona, competitor scan) send the relevant project context to our model providers to generate a response. The output is returned to your account and is not used to train shared models.

Paid AI actions are recorded as credit transactions so you can audit what ran, when, and which project it belonged to.

We use first-party cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember UI preferences (such as a dismissed banner), and track onboarding reward progress. We do not run third-party advertising trackers inside the app.

Wedge relies on a small set of vetted providers to deliver the product: managed Postgres + auth for storage, an AI gateway for model inference, Stripe for payments, and transactional email for account messages.

Payments are processed by Stripe — Wedge never sees or stores your full card number.

You can delete individual projects from the dashboard, which removes their canvas, documents, and research from your account.

When reporting a vulnerability, please include steps to reproduce and avoid accessing other users' data. We'll respond as quickly as we can.
